About The Gospel Speaks Today
Every headline is an opportunity. Every crisis points to a deeper truth. Every event in our world is a moment to share the unchanging Good News of Jesus Christ.
Examining the world through the lens of Scripture
The Gospel Speaks Today exists for one purpose: to examine the major events of our time through the unchanging lens of Scripture, and to use every analysis as an opportunity to share the Gospel message of salvation.
We live in a world of unprecedented upheaval — wars, natural disasters, political upheaval, moral confusion, and signs that many believe point to the return of Jesus Christ. Rather than responding with fear or despair, we respond with faith, with Scripture, and with the conviction that God is not surprised by any of it.
This site is open to all — believers who want to deepen their understanding, and seekers who are asking the hard questions that current events raise. You are welcome here, wherever you are on your journey.
The Good News that changes everything
Behind every article, every analysis, every discussion on this site is one conviction: that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the answer to the deepest questions raised by the events of our world.
God loves you
The Bible declares that God created you and loves you deeply. 'For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.' — John 3:16
We are separated from God
Every human being has sinned — fallen short of God's perfect standard. This sin separates us from God and leads to spiritual death. 'For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.' — Romans 3:23
Jesus is the bridge
God did not leave us in our separation. He sent His Son Jesus Christ to live a perfect life, die on the cross in our place, and rise from the dead — paying the penalty for our sin. 'But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.' — Romans 5:8
Receive the gift
Salvation is not earned — it is received by faith. 'If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.' — Romans 10:9
A simple prayer
"If you would like to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you can pray something like this: 'Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sins and invite You into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Saviour. Amen.'"
If you prayed that prayer sincerely, the Bible promises that you are now a child of God. We encourage you to find a Bible-believing church, begin reading the Gospel of John, and reach out to us — we would love to hear from you.
